Clevedon RFC U16 team  took a strong squad of 19 Players on a short tour to Devon, staying in a Caravan Park at Dawlish.  The tour started with a Friday night social evening when Players, Coaches and Supporters showed off their fine collection of silly hats (that had to be worn at all times) around the Bar and organised themselves for the Game against Exeter Saracens the following day and the Tour Kangaroo Court the following Night.

Saturday saw an early start, fines for those who couldn't get up in time and a short trip to Exeter.  As this was to be the first game of the season for both sides, it was decided that a format of four fifteen minute sessions with rolling substitutions would allow both coaches to exercise their entire squads and evaluate tactics, in particular their newly acquired lifting skills against evenly matched opposition.  Clevedon started slowly but built up momentum as the match progressed, running out eventual winners 12-14.

Saturday Night saw the Tour Kangaroo Court presided over by "Judge" Mike.  Before a court of their peers all Players and Coaches were deemed guilty of the most heinous crimes, requiring summary justice.  As this is a public website the pictures must be censored to protect the guilty.

Sunday morning the tour broke-up as many of the players had a County Trial back in Glastonbury.
